Calendar focuses on theme of "Beti hai to kal hai"

CM Mr Chouhan releases govt calendar for year 2012
Bhopal, December 25, 2011 (Ataullah Faizan): Chief Minister Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan released the government calendar for the yar 2012 at Chief Minister's House today. Releasing the calendar, Chief Minister Mr Chouhan wished for the New Year to be harbinger of progress and prosperity of the state. Mr Chouhan said that 'Beti hai to kal hai' (Future is when daughter is) is not a mere slogan, but a very important work for re-establish daughters in society. He also hoped for increased public participation in Beti Bachao Abhiyan. Chief Minister Mr Chouhan also praised design and printing quality of the calendar.
Revenue Minister Mr Karan Singh Verma, Principal Secretary Revenue Mr R.K. Swai, Controller Printing and Stationery Mr Manish Shrivastava, Additional Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Madhyam Mr Suresh Tiwari, Deputy Controller Mr Lawrence Robertson and incharge Deputy Controller Mr Vilas Manthanwar were also present on the occasion.

The government calendar for year 2012, which is dedicated to Beti Bachao Abhiyan, depicts photographs of cycle and uniform distribution, Ladli Laxmi Yojna, Mukhyamant ri Kanyadan Yojna, prominent women like Ahilya Bai, Atal Bal Arogya Mission as well schemes of Woman And Child Development, Health, School Education, Social Justice, Sports & Youth Welfare and other departments. The calendar focuses importance of the slogan 'Beti hai to kal hai'. The caption on the photograph on the January page of the calendar is 'Ujyara laai bitiya hamari' (our daughter brought light). The February page contains a photograph related to children's health and nutrition. The March page carries the caption 'Muskanon se chhalkta vishwas' (Smiles spill confidence). 'Jeevan ke naye padao ki khushiyan' (joys of new milestones in life) is the theme of the April page. The May page carries photographs related to care-taking of pregnant women. The caption for June page says 'khel pratibhaon ko mil raha hai protsahan' (talented sportspersons being encouraged). The picture caption on July page is 'Ghoomte pahiyon par Jhoomti khushiyan' (swaying joys on moving wheels). The caption of August page is 'Badalti duniya se pehchan' (introduction with changing world). 'Kamzor wargon ki chinta (concern for weaker sections) is the caption of the September page. The October page has the capition 'Sushasan ki missal' (example of good governance). A collage of multicolour photo graphics has been presented on the November page under the caption 'Nishakton ke hakon ki poori suraksha evam atma vishwas ki ek chhalang' (total protection to rights of disabled persons and a jump of self-confidence).

Apart from the pictorial calendar, Chief Minister Mr Chouhan also released calendar without pictures, table calendar, hardbound diary and spiral notebook. The calendar has been designed by Public Relation Department's undertaking Madhya Pradesh Madhyam and carries photographs taken by photographers Govind Chaurasia, Vishal Nadkarni, Hemant Vaiyankar, Sushil Dhargaven, Anil Mudgal and staff of Public Relations Department.
